I grew up in Malaysia and my artwork generally shows a love of colour. I completed a science degree majoring in Biochemistry from Melbourne University. After graduating I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years before settling down and having a family.
My love for art began when my husband and I first visited Europe many years ago.The work of the impressionists particularly struck a chord.I followed up with courses at local community artists societies. My practice of art has been punctuated by the demands of a home and a young family.
I have exhibited and sold at various exhibitions including Malvern Society and at the friends of Very Special Kids Exhibitions. With my children as adults, now I am painting more.I have recently done workshops with artist David Chen
I paint subjects that evoke an emotion in me. Whether it is the movement, the colour or the narrative.
To improve, I have recently done artist David Chens colour workshops I paint subjects that evoke an emotion in me. Whether it is the movement, the colour, or the narrative.
I try and follow techniques but in the end I paint with instinct.
